Lovely experience did the tour with one of the reserved lighthouse keepers that was an excellent bonus. They were knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Worth the extra cost. Not the easiest place to get to but worth the effort.

What a spot! Truly wonderful to come here and enjoy the stunning west coast on the mainland. Well worth the single lane drive. Not disappointed come the end. Great little visitor centre with some nice gifts and a decent coffee. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend

It's a long drive through the most beautiful and amazing landscape to reach this fabulous place, but there's great cake and coffee waiting at the end of it.

A beautiful spot, great views over to Eig, Coll and Muck. The lighthouse life exhibition brings it alive for you. You can go up the lighthouse. We had our picnic there plenty of spaces. Coffee from the shop was excellent.

It is an experience driving here but worth it, we had beautiful weather and spent time watching jelly fish and I saw a seal but wasn't quick enough with my camera. There is a lovely coffee shop, with alternative milk which is good for me!

Could have been a great event. Unfortunately, you have to be a native English speaker to understand everything. The guide spoke much too fast and probably also dialect. Only understood about 20%. A pity. The history of the lighthouse was only told in the dome of the lighthouse. The other buildings were not mentioned. Too expensive for what is offered.

The most westerly point of mainland Britain. Awesome views, excellent cafe, run by the community. Alan Stevenson's sublime lighthouse makes reference to ancient Egyptian architecture. The drive there is epic too! There is a tour but we missed that. I'd recommend an evening visit to watch the sun go down over the small isles. Whale spotting is also a possibility.

We were hesitant to book the guided tour at first, but we’re so glad we did it after all! The guide was a very passionate storyteller and explained a lot about the lighthouse’s history. The views from the top were stunning. There’s a 165 steps staircase to the top. We’d definitely recommend this tour.
